dc.description.abstract Data-driven framework development has gained popularity in recent years, mainly because of the ease of gathering customer feedback data and product data due to technological advancement. Organizations see the value of involving data in their development processes to make products more customer-centric and efficient. Hence forth proper decision making in an organization. This study used TAHA as a case study, this is because of the nature of operations within the organization. This includes numerous data obtained from producers, traders, exporters and processors of horticulture value chain. Following the patterns of traditional methods of data collection, decision-making processes have been more opinion-oriented and sometimes judgmental. In other words, more human factors, gut feeling, personal experiences and visionary form of decisions have been doing the rounds in this company for long. therefore this study focused in design and develop data driven decision making process for business (TAHA). The study used interviews guide question and hence forth developed a data driven decision framework. This framework will drive effective decision making within an organization (TAHA). The outcome of this study would enable TAHA to drive transformation of horticultural sub-sector in Tanzania through proper data management and usage in driving decisions made by the management. The use of the data driven framework would enable the organization to profile traders with a link to producers of horticultural product for easy trading of the horticultural products. The study also recommends to the organization to use analytical tool for example geo database for capturing farmers land profile for sustainable land use. en_US
