dc.description.abstract This study examined the effect of transformational leadership on organizational performance in the public sector, focusing on Singida Municipal. The main objective of the study was to assess how transformational leadership practices vision, communication, and innovation influence leadership effectiveness, employee performance, and service delivery outcomes within the council. Specific Objectives includes:- To determine the influence of transformational leadership within Singida Municipal Council, To analyze the impact of transformational leadership on employee performance in public sector in Singida Municipal council and To examine the effect of Transformational leadership on service delivery outcomes in Singida Municipal council.A quantitative research design was adopted, and data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to 329 employees selected using stratified random sampling. The data were analyzed using SPSS Version 27, employing both descriptive and inferential statistics, including multiple linear regression analysis.The findings revealed that transformational leadership significantly influences overall organizational performance. The regression model showed a strong positive relationship between transformational leadership and performance (R = 0.826; R² = 0.682; p < 0.001). Specifically, vision emerged as the strongest predictor (β = 0.402; p < 0.001), followed by communication (β = 0.381; p < 0.001) and innovation (β = 0.309; p < 0.001). These findings indicate that leaders who articulate a clear vision, communicate effectively, and promote innovation drive better employee performance and improved service delivery in public institutions.The study concludes that transformational leadership is a key driver of organizational effectiveness in the public sector. It recommends that public institutions strengthen leadership capacity through training, enhance communication systems, and foster a culture of innovation to improve overall performance and service delivery en_US
