dc.description.abstract The study investigated the contribution of trade unions in promoting employment satisfaction among workers in Tanzania, with a focus on the PSSSF office In Dodoma, A mixed research approach was employed, integrating both qualitative and quantitative methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research question. The sample size for this study was 98 participants, selected using purposive and simple random sampling techniques. Primary data was collected through structured questionnaires administered to 88 workers, and in-depth interviews were conducted with ten (10) management personnel. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression (quantitative), as well as content analysis for qualitative data. The study's main findings revealed that collective bargaining, legal support, advocacy, and employee representation play significant roles in enhancing employment satisfaction among workers at the PSSSF office in Dodoma, Tanzania. Quantitative and qualitative data analyses indicated a positive correlation between these factors and job satisfaction, with clear communication, trust-building, and timely issue resolution emerging as critical aspects, To further improve employment satisfaction, it is recommended that PSSSF management prioritize transparent and inclusive collective bargaining practices, enhance legal support and protections for employees, actively engage in advocacy efforts, andpromotetheestablishment of effectiveemployee representationstructures.
