dc.description.abstract This study was carried out to assess the influence of ICT in student performance using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In that regard, the specific objectives of the study were to determine the influence of perceived ease of use of technology on the performance of students, to find out the influence of perceived usefulness of technology on the performance of students and to examine the influence of attitude on the use of technology on the performance of students. The study used Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study used cross- sectional design as the research design while on the other hand simple random and purposive sampling techniques were used to select 104 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis with the aid of SPSS/Ms-Excel for quantitative data and content analysis for qualitative data. The study found that perceived ease of use of technology has major influence on the performance of students in the sense that using ICT items such as mobile phone, laptops, IPAD does not take too much time from them, ICT devices is not complicated, it is not difficult to use it and learning how to use ICT devices is easy for them. The study also revealed that perceived usefulness has major influence on the performance of students in the sense that students find the ICT system useful at TTC, and using ICT makes it easier for students' performance. It was also established that attitude has major influence on the performance of students in the sense that introducing ICT system was a good idea to improve students' performance at TTC, ICT makes learning more interesting for students and TTC students like using ICT and this is their attitude. The study concludes that perceived ease of use of technology, perceived usefulness of technology and attitude on the use of technolog y have major influence on students' performance. The study recommends that the college should continue encouraging the study to use ICT devices using modern technology so as to continue improving their performance. Also the management of college should continue putting emphasis to the students particulary on the perceived usefulness of the ICT devices based on modern technology so as to continue improving their performances at large. The study further recommends that more emphasis is needed to the students to continue changing their attitudes about the usage of ICT to improve their performance. In that regard, their positive attitude towards the usage of ICT for better performance will enable them to continue performing better en_US
