Abstract:
The study was on Employer factors influencing Members' Pension Benefit Payment at the
NSSF Tanga Branch. The research was conducted at the National Social Security Fund of
Tanga Region. The specific objectives of the study were; to assess the selected employer
factors toward pensioners' Benefits Payments to determine how they influence the timely
payment of Pensioners' Benefits Payments. Further, to determine if there is a significant
relationship between the selected employer factors and Members' Pension Benefits Payments. The study employed a quantitative approach and specifically, the descriptive-correlation
research design. The research sample comprised a sample size of 55 out of a population of
184, NSSF Pensioner Members who were selected using the convenience sample technique. The data were collected using a self-constructed set of questionnaires. The data collected were
encoded and analyzed through SPSS, and the research finally presented, analyzed, and
interpreted the findings.
