dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of performance appraisal on employee performance in the seeds industry-Tanzania: a case study of syova seed t limited in Arusha region. This study is guided by the following specific objectives; To examine the impact of performance appraisal feedback on employee development and skill enhancement at Syova Seed T Limited in the Arusha region, to assess employees' perceptions and attitudes towards performance appraisal in Syova Seed T Limited and to examine the influence of performance appraisal on employee performance in Syova Seed T Limited. The study is guided by expectancy theory and social exchange theory. The case study design will be used to explain the impact, employee perception, altitudes, and influence of performance appraisal in Syova Seed T Limited's at Arusha region. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches will be adopted in this study where a sample size of 80 will be obtained from different departments in Syova Seed T Limited en_US
