The targeted population of 354 people was used to get a sample of 188 respondents. A simple random technique was used during data collection where questionnaires, and interviews, were the methods used to collect data for WEO, Suspects, and the Community. A mixed research approach was used to enhance the validity and reliability of data triangulations of the study. The findings of the study have provided multifaceted insights into the interaction between the Ward Police and the community, focusing on crime reporting, prevention, and overall safety. In conclusion, while the study reveals a foundation of active participation and positive efforts, it also highlights critical areas for improvement. Enhancing trust and communication between the community and police, refining crime prevention strategies, and deepening community engagement are pivotal steps. The study concluding that, these measures will not only address the identified gaps but will also foster a more cohesive, safe, and empowered community, effectively bridging the gap between the community and law enforcement agencies. The study recommended that regarding encouraging community crime reporting awareness campaigns, the police force through the ward police officers should run security awareness campaigns in rural areas and these campaigns must contain detail on how and why to report crimes to ward police officers for a safe community which ensure human security en_US
