whereaspurposivesamplingtechniquewasusedtose

usingdescriptive:inferentialforquantitativedataandcontentanalysisforqualitativedata.Thestudy
foundthatnonumberofcasesaboutterrorismwasreportedwhiletherewasnonumberofcivilians
killedbyterrorists.Thestudyalsoindicatedthatvariousstrategiesweretakenbythegovernment
suchasraising public awareness, providingtrainingto the security officers,making patrol and
civilianshelpsthesecurityofficerstoprovideinformationwhentheyseethereisanyindicatorsof
dangerous.Thestudyfurtherrevealedchallengesrelatedtothecross-bordersecurity,andthese
challengeswerechangingtacticseveryday,largenetworkofillegalimmigrantsinourbordersand
fewofoursoldiersaredishonest.Thestudyconcludedthatontheimportanceofmaintainingadelicatebalancebetween
ensuringsecurityandfosteringapositiveexperiencefortravelersandstakeholdersatJuliusNyerereInternationalAirport.Thestudy
recommendsthatthereisaneedtotrengthenCross-BorderCollaboration,enhancepartnershipswithneighboringcountriesand
internationalsecurityagenciestoimproveintelligencesharingandcoordinatedeffortsinaddressingcross-bordersecuritythreats. |
