dc.description.abstract |
The economy of Tanzania in 2021 showed that the country has had an average real GDP growth
rate of 6.3% over the past decade (2010-2019). This information placed the country to be among
the fastest growing economies in Africa and in the world. In line to this, the Bank of Tanzania
(BOT) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) also showed that the real GDP of Tanzania grew
by 4.9% in 2021 reaching USD 70.28 billion. In view to this, quantitative research study is be
conducted to illustrate the relationship(s) between the development of Tanzania and use of
leadership and governance skills and how it affects the efficiency and effectiveness of the
economic growth. The study is also looking the relationship between Good Governance and how it
was by the Government in promoting economic growth. In this respect, the three months study
between July 2023 to October 2023 is use descriptive correlation design method to collect primary
and secondary information from 100 employees from the Ministry of Constitution and Legal Affairs
(MoCLA) headquarters in Dodoma City, Tanzania. The information to be collected is also use to
explain the relationship between the elements of Good Governance skills and economic
development used by the MoCLA as stated by the United Nations and Economic Growth of the
country. It is anticipated that the amount of Tas 1.6million is be enough to accomplish data
collection, analysis and presentation.
