Abstract:
The primary goal of this study was to investigate Factors Influencing Labor Turnover In Tanzanian Public Organizations: A Case Study Of Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited, Arusha Region. For testing the research objectives, the study used a quantitative research approach. The target population was TANESCO employees, and the content validity was determined using the content validity index. The pilot study was carried out by selecting 30 participants to fill out questionnaires, which were then subjected to the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient test to determine the internal consistency of the research instrument. The findings show that in order for organizations to ensure good employee turnover, they must ensure and maintain good staffing as well as follow up on selection policy in their daily activities.
The study concluded that the best way for management to keep employee turnover low is to have a good supervisory system in place. The study concluded that in order for any management or organization to manage and ensure employee turnover, they must have a strong grievance procedure in place in their daily operations. The study concluded that organizations should ensure that they have a better way of motivating their employees through various techniques so that they can work more courageously and confidently. Findings show that for any improvement in employee turnover in several activities to be done in management, managerial factors must be supported. Employee turnover is influenced by organizational managerial factors.
