dc.description.abstract Non-monetary rewards on employee motivation have attracted the global focus in creating commitment to employees on their job. The study focuses on the Assessment of Effectiveness of Non-Monetary rewards on motivating employees performance. The study was guided with three objectives which were to identify types of non-monetary rewards provided by MoCU to their employees that improve performance, to examine effects of non-monetary rewards on employee motivation and to analyze challenges hindering the implementation of non-monetary rewards to motivate employee performance. A case study approach was be used for the purposes of this report. From research Findings researcher found that it is evident that employee training, employee recognition: rewards and incentives greatly affect employee motivation in an organization and have a great impact on employee performance. The researcher recommended the government should provide fund to facilitate various activities and establish clear and friendly policy that facilitates good working environment, sufficient and up to date working facilities en_US
