Abstract:
This report Is based on the study about the role of Human resource practices on organizational performance a case study of the regional commissioner's office The study used three chosen HR practices Such as Information sharing, recruitment, and setection as well as training and development in exploring heir tole towards the organization. performance in public sector organizations in Tanzania The general obreckw of the study was to explore the tole practices on organizational performance. Also there were specific objectives whereby the study invesigated the information staring apply at Ine Regional Commissioners Office in Tanga Region. to determine tho role of recruitment and selection in organisational performance and to evaluate the significant relationship that exists between training and development and the organizational performance In Tanga Regional Ccommissioner. The study employed a descriptive correlational design in which Tanga region commissioners office was used as a case study. The Sample 0f 57 respondents was selected by using simple random sampling also using non probaboty sampling to select the head of departments. The use of questionnaires and Interviews was used as data sources for the study, also the data obtained was analyzed and presented both qualitatively as well as quantitatively with the aid of Microsoft Excel as the tool for anal. The findings from the study showed also the HR practices such as informant sharing, recruitment selection training, and development as well as Information sharing play a great role In creating and improving the performance or public sector organisation but only there are good straregies for executing these practices. The coclusion from the study, is that HR practices one by one and collectively create the best organizational performance in public sector organizations. Moreover, further research studies conducted on other HR practices to other Regional secretariats, and other public sector organisations like Public corporations and Authorities will enable the bettrer generalization of findings also the recommendation from the study is that information sharing culture is important in creating the best performance of public sector therefore the administrators of public sector organizations should keep more efforts on creating a conducive environment for information sharing culture to go perpendicular with the needs of the current world of globalization. Secondly, the role of training and development programs seems to be very the best organisational Performance, therefore the administrators of pubic sector organizations Should keep, effort into creating good strategies on how they can undertake and mere these programs in their organisations since training and development its the source of knowledge and skills that enables the employees to be competent to bring the best organisational performance. lastly recruitment and selection seem also to have contributional performance threfore the administrators should ensure that they keep more efforts on having good decisions for tecruitment and select, as well as keep on ensuring the employees available are at the right place and at the right time and they are utilized effectively, also ensuring that they keep on developing , various mechanism to manage the performance of recruited employees.
