This study assessed procurement practice on public procurement performer. in Tanzania using Kilimanjaro Nation. Park (KINAPA) as a study case Specifically, the study established contribution of procurement planning on procurement performance assessed influences of resources allocation and supplier relationship management (SRM). respectively on procurement performance. The study adopted explanatory research design and employed the mixed method approach. A sample of 64 respondents drawn from KINAPA was used. Inferential and descriptive statistics were deployed to examine contributions of procurement planning. as well as influences of resource allocation and SRM, respectively, on procurement performance. Chi square tests were deploy. to assess relationships between procurement planning. resource allocation and SRM, respectively, and procurement performance Content analysis was used to analyze qualitative data. The finding indicates that procurement planning ha. significant contribution on procurement performance al KINAPA (p < .05). Specifically, need assessment, procurement cost estimation and quality specification, respectively. are among elements of procurement planning with significant contribution in public procurement performance. Also. the findings indicate that public procurement performance is significantly influenced by resource allocation (p < .05) Specifically, human resources, financial resources and e-procurement. respectively, are essential resources with significant influences on procurement performance. Also, the findings indicate that public procurement performance is significantly influenced by SRM (p < .05). Specifically, SRM significantly influences supplier quality control, lead time reduction and timely delivery of supplies. It is recommended that public organizations should adhere to best procurement practices basing on both national and international standards. Also. public organization should develop internal audit check list for best procurement practices to guarantee consistence to the practices.
