dc.description.abstract Aim of this study is to assess the Effects of Force Account on Achieving Value for Money with Public Construction Projects in Shinyanga District accompanied with the specific objectives which confined on examining the contribution of personnel qualities in execution of force account in public construction projects, determining the effects of using Force Account on transparency of public construction projects and identifying the contribution of organizational capital on Public construction projects. After employ Descriptive design and using questionnaire and interview for 215 respondents the study revealed how personnel qualities influence force account practices in public construction projects in Shinyanga District Council, highlighting the importance of experience and age in project management, while opinions varied on gender diversity's impact. It also emphasized the commitment to transparency in project execution through site visits, meetings, and efficient budget planning for cost-effective outcomes. Additionally, the research explored organizational capital, stressing the significance of finance, skilled workforce, and equipment quality for timely project completion but revealed nuanced perspectives on project quality and the role of technician and manager skills. Overall, the study showcased the multifaceted nature of organizational capital in shaping construction project outcomes in Shinyanga District Council. Generally, the study concluded that the force account approach has a substantial positive impact on the execution of public construction projects in Shinyanga District Council, Tanzania en_US
