This study was conducted in Morogoro region where ten (10) secondary schools at Morogoro municipality were selected and involved in the study to evaluate  the state of teachers’ performance as the result of Transformational Leadership style in public secondary schools. Specifically, the study targeted to (i) assess preparation of teaching and learning tools. (ii) assess preparation of assessment tools. (iii) indicate performance through collaboration with school community. (iv) examine performance in professional development. The study employed a mixed-methods approach with the guiding of pragmatism research philosophy. A concurrent mixed method design was used to provide a comprehensive understanding of a research problem.  The population of the study expected to be 617 respondents (572 teachers, 33 head of schools and 10 SQAs who were taken from the selected secondary schools and municipal education offices). The sample size in this study was 114 respondents which comprised 10 head of schools and 4 SQAs  who were purposively selected as well as 100 teachers who were selected through stratified sampling. &#13;
Data were collected though questionnaires and interview method, data were analyzed through content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques. Findings indicates that, a commendable level of commitment and diligence among educators, demonstrating a structured approach to their instructional practices. Specifically, 31 (31%) respondents expressed strong agreement that their teachers effectively prepare schemes of work, while 55 (55%) agreed, 6(6%) neutral while 8(8%) disagreed to the statement. The study concludes that, the leaders' ability to provide personalized feedback and recognize individual strengths. However, the study also reveals areas for improvement, particularly concerning the tailored support provided to educators, where a notable percentage expressed neutrality or disagreement. The study recommends that Government and Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to prioritize the establishment of comprehensive leadership development programs.

The aim of this study was to examine the impact of leadership on the use of Information Technology &#13;
in marketing financial services, with a focus on NMB Plc in the Tabora region, Tanzania. Guided &#13;
by transformative leadership theory, the study involved a sample size of 180 respondents, including &#13;
employees and management staff. Using regression and descriptive analysis techniques, the &#13;
findings revealed that while the organizational culture at NMB Plc largely supports IT adoption in &#13;
marketing, areas such as communication, training, and leadership support require improvement. &#13;
The study concluded that leadership plays a crucial role in fostering innovation and encouraging &#13;
the adoption of IT tools in marketing, though challenges like rigid policies, limited training, and &#13;
high maintenance costs hinder optimal IT use. It is recommended that NMB Plc strengthen &#13;
leadership support, enhance training programs, improve communication practices, and adjust &#13;
policies to better integrate IT into marketing strategies.

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of good governance practices in &#13;
government departments, specifically focusing on the transparency, accountability, &#13;
and participation in health service delivery at Kahama District Hospital. Using a &#13;
mixed-methods research approach, the study employed both qualitative and &#13;
quantitative methods to collect data from a sample of 196 respondents, selected through &#13;
simple random and purposive sampling techniques. The research philosophy was &#13;
grounded in pragmatism, which advocates for using multiple methods to gain a &#13;
comprehensive understanding of the research problem. Data were collected via &#13;
questionnaires and interviews, with quantitative data analyzed using descriptive &#13;
statistics, including mean scores, while qualitative data were analyzed through &#13;
thematic coding, identifying key themes and patterns related to governance practices &#13;
and health service delivery challenges. The findings revealed that while the hospital &#13;
had made notable progress in promoting transparency (mean score of 3.7) and &#13;
accountability (mean score of 3.5), several challenges such as inadequate facilities, &#13;
financial constraints, and limited information systems were hindering optimal service &#13;
delivery. Client satisfaction was relatively high, with 71% of respondents indicating &#13;
that their service expectations were met. The study concludes that while Kahama &#13;
District Hospital has laid a strong foundation in governance practices, there is a need &#13;
for targeted interventions such as enhanced staff training, improved decision-making &#13;
policies, increased government funding for infrastructure, and alignment of &#13;
governance structures with theoretical frameworks. These recommendations are in line &#13;
with studies by authors such as Ochieng et al. (2016), Mushi and Chacha (2018), and &#13;
Mhando (2020), who emphasize the need for continuous improvements in governance &#13;
to enhance health service delivery. The qualitative analysis provided further insights &#13;
into the key governance challenges faced by the hospital, offering a richer &#13;
understanding of how the hospital can better align its governance practices with &#13;
community expectations to achieve better health outcomes.

This study investigates the effects of leadership styles on enhancing good &#13;
governance within the Mwanza City Council in Tanzania. Good governance, &#13;
characterized by principles such as accountability, transparency, responsiveness, &#13;
and inclusiveness, is critical for effective leadership and administration in public &#13;
institutions. The study aims to determine the influence of transformational, &#13;
transactional, and autocratic leadership styles on good governance outcomes in the &#13;
local government context. Employing a cross-sectional research design, data is &#13;
collected using closed-ended questionnaires from a sample of 178 respondents, &#13;
allowing for quantitative analysis of the relationship between leadership styles and &#13;
governance. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly &#13;
enhances good governance, demonstrating a path coefficient of 0.782 and a p-value &#13;
of 0.000, indicating a strong positive correlation. Leaders who inspire and motivate &#13;
their teams play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment that drives &#13;
organizational success. Transactional leadership also contributes positively, with a &#13;
path coefficient of 0.716 and a p-value of 0.000, emphasizing the importance of &#13;
rewarding accomplishments and creating clear expectations to enhance &#13;
accountability within the council. While transactional leadership may not inspire the &#13;
same level of engagement as transformational leadership, it remains essential for &#13;
achieving specific organizational objectives and maintaining structured processes. &#13;
Additionally, the study acknowledges a positive relationship between autocratic &#13;
leadership and good governance, evidenced by a path coefficient of 0.747 and a p&#13;
value of 0.001. Despite its less collaborative nature, autocratic leadership can &#13;
facilitate swift decision-making and goal achievement, although its long-term &#13;
effects on employee morale and innovation warrant caution. This research &#13;
contributes significantly to the existing body of knowledge on leadership and &#13;
governance, particularly in the context of local government in Mwanza City. By &#13;
highlighting the importance of effective leadership in enhancing governance &#13;
outcomes, the study provides empirical evidence that supports the need for &#13;
leadership development programs tailored to the unique challenges of public
